Waves

Thoughts and emotions, like waves on the shoreline, rise and fall. I stand in them. Laugh and cry in them. I walk in them. Muse and stir in them. I run in them. Dance and sing in them. I look down as they brush against my legs. I close my eyes as they splash my face. I brace myself as they ebb and flow with the cosmic forces. I simply observe them. Because I know waves will always do what they were made to do.
