This song was created during the process of losing a pet, whom I had the honor of sharing my life with for fifteen years. We all experience loss in life and face the grief that comes with it. I'm reminded how each moment is something to fully embrace. To be fully present in the here and now. Whether that moment be painful, joyful, sorrowful or peaceful. It's important to not run away from emotion but to step back and observe it. To be the timeless, eternal observer of a human experience. That better enables us to go through that emotion, process it and learn how to heal.
